National Birth Mother's Day

"Being a birth mother is not something women dream of growing up to be, it is a decision made by circumstances, by timing, by a desire and a need to give our children more than we have. There is no giving up in being a birth mother. I didn't give up my child, I changed her circumstances in the only way I could. Birth mothers are often misunderstood as not loving or wanting their children, it is not that at all. It was never about what we wanted, it was about what our children needed, and we provided that in the best way we could, just like mothers do. Happy Birth Mother's Day to all of the incredible, strong, and brave birth mothers out there. You are all in my heart always."
