Well May has come and gone. As we look back to the events of May, we yearn for the cool temps, but as always the end of May in Ohio brings 90 degree days. We won’t complain because snow will be here before we know it 😊.
Mental Heath Awareness Month
In May we recognized Mental Health Awareness month. Many of the birth parents we work with are challenged by mental health issues. As a society we are acknowledging mental health more often and people are more likely to talk about their challenges. There are 5ks, baseball tournaments and other community events that support and raise awareness of mental health issues. We encourage you to get involved in these events and talk to your child about mental health awareness. This link provides information about sharable mental resources which includes, but not limited to: depression, Bipolar Disorder, Eating Disorders and Suicide Prevention.
Mother’s Day
In May we celebrated Mother’s Day. We enjoyed seeing all the photos of our mom’s with their babies, big and small. We also enjoyed all the posts where families expressed gratitude and acknowledged their amazing birthmothers.

End of School Year
May also was the end of the school year for many of our kids. We always love seeing our kids, and are looking forward to seeing their summer adventures.
Finalizations
Congratulations to our families who finalized this month. Miss Brooklyn definitely showed up to her finalization stylish and rocking that yellow flower head wrap! Adorable! 😊
