Charting the Course has been providing assistance, advocacy, education and counseling for adoptive families since 1986. There are now 6 therapists specializing in helping adoptive families.

The post adoptive services include: Individual counseling for adopted children,teens and families specializing in attachment and adoption related issues Clinical Director, Dr. Alan Dupre-Clark 8-week therapeutic/education series for children,teens and parents Parallel sessions that address, adoption issues, behavior management anger issues, adoption adjustment, birth parent issues.(minimum age -7) 6-week series for children and teens to address self-esteem and anger issues (6-17) Intensive therapeutic group for parents struggling with acting out, anger, and more difficult adoption related issues in the home.
